For the last two decades Tanya Asapansa Johsnon Walker has been a pillar of our communities’ fight for equality and justice for TGNCNB and LGBTQI New Yorkers. Most recently she served a term as co-chair of the EQNY boards. In that term she has increased membership, led the Racial Justice Committee, and produced multiple policy campaigns.

We are excited to share that Tanya is taking another step forward to help our LGBTQI community. In lieu of an additional term as Co-Chair, Tanya is making time for another exciting opportunity to serve. She remains an active member of the Advisory Board and the EQNY community.
