Announcing the Fall 2021 Application for the LGBTQI Advocacy Institute is Now Open

Image

The program provides the education and resources needed to help build the leadership of all LGBTQI New Yorkers. Our Advocacy Institutes provide the training needed to understand the theoretical and programmatic components of effective organizing, along with the tools needed to implement a successful campaign in local communities.

Most individuals accepted to the LGBTQI Advocacy Institute will take all three courses over a two year period. They will also engage through on-going alumni programming after completing their first course. This includes monthly meetings and training to support and foster individual projects. All classes are taught by expert organizers; online – due to COVD-19; follow a core curriculum and include readings; and are 100% tuition free (thanks to our generous donors).
